(AsiaGameHub) – Endorphina Limited, an online slot game provider based in Prague, has been awarded a Gaming-Related Vendor Licence (Tier II) by the United Arab Emirates’ General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA).
The GCGRA, which serves as a federal authority responsible for licensing, overseeing, and regulating all commercial gaming activities throughout the UAE, issued the licence on Thursday.
Within the established regulatory framework, Endorphina is authorised to supply gaming-related products and services across the Emirates while operating under the compliance and oversight of the GCGRA.
A gaming-related vendor licence is an entity licence issued to ‘suppliers of gaming equipment or related goods and services’.
The company regards this licence as a significant expansion of its global presence. “Over the past years, Endorphina has developed into a reputable, internationally recognised supplier, adhering to a principle of gradual and sustainable growth,” stated Džangar Jesenov, Endorphina’s head of compliance.
‘Among the top providers worldwide’
Jesenov described the licence as both “an honour and a responsibility.” She highlighted the company’s position as one of the leading global providers based on the number of jurisdictions where it is permitted to operate.
“Today, in terms of the number of jurisdictions where we are authorised to operate, we are proud to be ranked among the Top providers worldwide.”
Jesenov also expressed enthusiasm about contributing to “shaping a sustainable and innovative industry under the guidance of the GCGRA.”
The licensed gaming market in the UAE is expected to draw both well-established European suppliers and regional operators. On the land-based side, Wynn Resorts is developing its $5.1 billion Wynn Al Marjan Island project in Ras Al Khaimah, which is anticipated to become the UAE’s first regulated casino resort.
However, recent reports indicate that regional tensions tied to the Iran conflict may impact construction schedules and tourism flows within the broader Gulf gaming market. Construction was temporarily halted in February but resumed in March.
